Genetic algorithms will thrive as one, and it shall take a breath.
Nothing is lost. Nothing is forgotten. It was in the blood, the flesh, And now it is forever.
Everything the studio has published is a node in the field behind this card. The deep wells are what there is most to say about. Drag to turn it, scroll to move through it, and follow a node to stand on it. Esc steps out of this card and back into the volume.
What there is
- Substrate: Emergence Free demo on Steam
Cells divide, mutate and are selected against a substrate you set. Simple rules, and a biology you did not write.
- Glia In the browser
Machine-bred shaders played as instruments. Tap out a rhythm and the organism evolves toward it, then keeps playing when you stop.
- Glia Hex Archived
The hex-grid synthesiser Glia used to be. Breed a sound, judge what came out, and keep whichever survivors earned it.
- Rorschach Lab In the browser
Shaders bred rather than written, driven by whatever they are made to listen to.
- Teztlotzl In the browser
A glyph engine.
What is written down
The Concordance is the scholarly canon of the Petri Dish, and the record of everything else the project holds. Every mechanical claim on it was read against the code that produces it, signed by the voice that read it, and pinned to the digest of the file it was read from. A page that turns out to be wrong is corrected rather than annotated.
It is the same field you are looking at. The corpus is the dense half of it.
